Edwards – HQ & Global Technology Centre

Edwards – HQ & Global Technology Centre

We were invited to tender and subsequently won the extension and renovation works within the Edwards Global Technology Centre, Burgess Hill. We have been heavily involved liaising with M&E designers, Suppliers & Client’s to provide an innovative solution to the lighting requirements. During the refurbishment and extension works the building was to remain occupied and in full production.
Electrical Services and Projects Ltd have worked closely with lighting manufacturers to provide solutions to difficult installation situations.
We worked sympathetically with the catering dept. during the enabling works to ensure the minimalist disruption to service. Upon completion of the temporary kitchen production was moved and work continued within the old kitchen area. There was no loss of kitchen facilities or production throughout the works.
Barriers were used to segregate working access routes between areas of works to protect both employees and clients.
Works included new distribution boards, small power, lighting, data, fire & security utilising metal tray, steel conduit, PVC dado trunking & LSF, FP200 and SWA cables.
ESP Ltd coordinated between the incumbent Fire and Intruder alarm contracted companies to ensure no loss in protection was received.
Throughout this ESP had strict lead times for the delivery of the project. The project was completed with much appraisal from both the client and the main contractor.
